Are you ready to climb Ruth Mountain (July 2009) for a cause?

Do you want to help Climb For Kids, but you are just a beginner in the mountains? Well, we have the adventure created especially for you. Ruth Mountain, located in North Cascades Nation Park is a climb that can be easily accomplished in a single day. The climb will provide a opportunity to use your crampons as well as ice axe, and depending on the snow, there may be small rock scrambling as well.

This climb is to be led by experienced outdoor enthusiast, Michelle Maislen.

Climbing a mountain is something that should not be taken lightly. People die each year mountain climbing. Safety of the utmost importance in these events. The summit is secondary to the safety of yourself and the rest of a climbing party.

By participating in an event, you will assume a certain level of risk. There is NO guarantee that you'll reach the summit.
